Deputy Director of the Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Dr. Aqeel Sohail, has said that fattened animals with more meat can be obtained by mixing non-breed and low-milking indigenous cows and foreign beef breeds. The Livestock and Dairy Development Department has also directed livestock farmers to take advantage of modern trends to meet the meat needs of animals and earn huge profits from livestock.
He expressed these views while talking to the national official news agency. He said that the Livestock told livestock farmers that it is necessary to follow the instructions of the department to obtain high-quality meat and to provide deworming drugs to animals and livestock.

He has also suggested immediate steps to protect animals from viruses so that they do not have to face any difficulty, trouble or financial loss later.

He said that if a person consumes the meat or milk of a sick animal, there is a risk of animal diseases being transmitted to humans. He further informed that for further information and guidance in this regard, the staff of the Livestock Department can also be contacted and the department has launched a free helpline in this regard. Livestock farmers can contact the free helpline 78685-78686-0800 from 9 am to 5 pm for any kind of guidance, consultation, information or problem.
